Parent Crew Spotlight - Tiffany DeYoung

Our family has been a part of the Renaissance Community for 9 years.  My husband Jason and I have four kids, two which are REMS alums, a daughter in Ms. Samantha's 3rd grade Crew, and a son that will be starting Kindergarten next year.  When our oldest began Renaissance for first grade we fell in the love with the tight knit community.  I began volunteering as Crew Parent and then took on the Volunteer Coordinator position in 2013.  I really enjoyed this because it gave me the opportunity to build friendships with the amazing staff and parents at the school.  I got to see first hand the importance of volunteering and how Renaissance really stands out because of the enormous involvement parents have here.   This year I decided to step out of my position as Volunteer Coordinator and join the REA Board as President. I am enjoying all of the new opportunities that come with this role and all of the people I get to volunteer beside.
